Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement appropriate interventions.
Provide counseling and support services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to support students' educational success.
Conduct crisis interventions and develop safety plans as necessary.
Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of school psychology.
Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field.
Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in North Carolina.
Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting.
Strong knowledge of psychological and educational assessment tools.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
