Responsibilities:
None Probationary Period:
Six months probationary period for the position.
Primary Duties:
PREA Coordinator / Inmate Programs / Classification / Disciplinary Hearing Officer:
Position has a multitude of responsibilities which include compliance with and overseeing the facility PREA standards, development, coordination, and implementation of new Inmate Programs and sustainment of current inmate programs, Inmate housing Classification and Classification reviews, acts as the Disciplinary Hearing Officer responsible for the determination of facts and appropriate disciplinary penalties regarding inmate disciplinary actions.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Must be a South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy Certified Officer (Class 1 or 2) with a minimum of 4 years of corrections experience.
(education and training may be substituted for years' experience) Must be self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work multiple projects simultaneously.
Must have a proven record of dependability and knowledge of corrections operations.
Must be dependable with a proven attendance record for work.
Knowledge and Experience working with standard office related software.
No serious disciplinary issues within the previous 6 months.
