This staff member is a key component of our business and will have the opportunity to cross train and assist in a variety of billing and collection activities, as well as gain opportunities for growth in an exciting and dynamic business.
We are looking for an individual with experience in SNF healthcare insurance billing and collection.
Billing manager experience is a plus.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Prepares and submits initial and corrected claims to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper weekly.
Verification of patient benefits and eligibility Strong analytical skills; ability to quickly identify problems and find effective solutions Rebills underpayments, appeals denials and turns them into payments, ensures accurate reimbursement on all claims.
Flexibility and multi-tasking skills Responsible for aging review Secondary insurance follow-up Performs other duties as assigned Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations Depending on Applicant experience Job may include at least a week of on-site training.
After training, job may be able to be done from home.
